It is a busy start of the year for Bio4Circularity (B4C) Network, as we are hosting an on-site Kick-off meeting for our network members from 2 – 3 April, 2025 in Hamburg, Germany. The event will be hosted by Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW) and will start off with a joint dinner on the evening of 2nd of April, thereby providing an opportunity for the members to connect and engage with future planned projects, events and publications in 2025.

On 3rd of April, it will be a full agenda focusing on various aspects of our collaboration, including exploring potential joint project proposals and identifying areas where we can work together effectively. Additionally, opportunities for joint publications will be explored, aiming to share insights through collaborative writing. Another key aspect will be discussing opportunities for organizing joint events and conferences, with the intention to strengthen our network, enhance knowledge exchange and put in value the expertise of our members. Through these activities, we make our contribution to achieving the 17th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), which focuses on partnerships for sustainable development.

Most of our premium members, namely: TalTech, Prospex Institute, Manchester Metropolitan Uni, YAGHMA B.V, TICASS, Foodscale Hub, University of Bologna, Cranfield University, Kaunas University of Technology, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, Mekreo Engineering and Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas, will join the Kick-off and actively contribute to developing the B4C strategy for 2025.
