The Bio4Circularity (B4C) Network hosted a Kick-off meeting for our premium network members from 2 – 3 April, 2025 in Hamburg, Germany.
The event started with a welcome dinner for the attendees at the renowned Schifferbörse Restaurant in Hamburg and saw attendance from members representing institutions such as Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), Prospex Institute vzw, meKreo Engineering, Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Manchester Metropolitan University, YAGHMA, Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC) , TICASS and Cranfield University.
Some of the B4C Network members already knew each other through their joint work in the EU-funded BIO-PLASTICS EUROPE project, through attendance in industry events such as BIC Matchmaking Event 2025 held earlier this year at Belgium or through collaborations related to publishing scientific papers and developing new project proposals. However, there were also new members and they were welcomed warmly to the B4C Network! The attendees enjoyed a relaxed and wonderful evening with nice food and lovely conversation. This was a perfect start to the event and we will soon report on how the second day of the Kick-off meeting went.
