We are delighted to announce that Viktoria Voronova, representing Bio4Circularity (B4C) Network Premium Member Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), participated in the recently held BALTIPLAST Final Conference, and highlighted how CO₂ footprint calculations can effectively translate plastic prevention measures into measurable climate impact.

By assessing emissions before and after implementation of plastic reduction measures, pilots across businesses, municipalities, schools, and households achieved significant CO₂ reductions, by avoiding single-use plastics and encouraging more sustainable daily practices.

The results clearly show that data-driven tools combined with behavioural change can deliver tangible and scalable climate benefits.
