Premium members of the Bio4Circularity (B4C) Network were recently involved in a national-level event, which also marked the launch of CheMatSustain (CMS) Facility. The public event was open to researchers, industrial professionals, policymakers and all stakeholders interested in enhancing the safety and sustainability of chemicals and nanomaterials through innovation.
Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) and University of Bologna (UNIBO) co-organised the event. The moderators included Carolyn Brand, Prospex Institute, Dr. Jelena Barbir, HAW Hamburg and Dr. Angelo Paletta and Dr. Marizo Miozza, UNIBO. Kamal Khandelwal, Eurskem B.V., also gave a key note speech during the event.
CMS is a European research project with the goal of making small chemical materials more environmentally friendly. The CMS Facility is an open, digital hub that brings together people from research, industry, policy, and citizens to share knowledge and promote the responsible development of nanomaterials. This platform serves as a knowledge-sharing center and a decision support tool.
