The network’s annual Premium Member meeting took place on 1–2 June 2026, in Hamburg, bringing together the premium members for two days of structured exchange, collaborative work, and strategic alignment.
The first day was dedicated to presentations covering the network’s key achievements, updates on Horizon Europe and CBE-JU funding opportunities, and formal introductions from new premium members, who presented their respective organisations, projects, and teams. A substantial part of the day was further allocated to working groups, in which premium members discussed forthcoming proposals, examined possibilities for collaboration, and established shared priorities for the period ahead.
The second day continued under the coordination of the network coordinator, Dr. Jelena Barbir, with a focus on proposal development, the setting of objectives for 2027, and the collective definition of the network’s strategic direction. Premium Members also explored concrete ways to strengthen mutual support across ongoing and future activities. In addition, Dr. Estefania Carpio delivered a presentation on the BIO Radar digital tools, demonstrating their application and presenting findings from the recently concluded project, which carried a total budget of approximately EUR 2.9 million.
The Bio4Circularity network extends its gratitude to all premium members for their active participation and contribution to the success of this year’s meeting.
