Last Friday, on the 6th of February 2026, our bi-annual meeting took place online, gathering representatives from around 19 institutions across Europe as Bio4Circularity Network Premium Members. The meeting served as a joint discussion platform to advance the network’s contribution to advancing the bio/based solutions for a circular and sustainable future.
Key project proposal funding calls were discussed, identifying strengths of the network’s members and discussing capacities in order to leverage the joint knowledge of the network consortium. Additionally, after successfully publishing multiple scientific articles in the past year, the network discussed further themes for joint publishing, as well as events. Looking ahead, the network confirmed the plan for the second bi-annual meeting to take place on 1-2 June in Hamburg. The meeting concluded with renewed energy and clear action items for the months ahead.
